Day 01 : Kathgodam/Tanakpur to Dharchula
To start a trip to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat travellers from different parts of the country will arrive at Kathgodam railway stationn (554m) which is a main entry point for visiting Kumaon region Uttarakhand. Kathgodam is well connected through road and rail routes with almost all majour cities and towns. Kathgodam is an important place and entry point for visiting not only Adi Kailash, Om Parvat Tour and many other pilgrimage sites of Kumaon, Uttarakhand but it is also am important point for those travel on Kailash Mannsarovar Yatra via Lipulekh pass.
Day 02 : Dharchula to Gunji/Nabi
Gunji is a small village situated at a height of 3200 meters above sea level, near India-Tibet border. Gunji is the base station for travellers to visit Adi Kailash and Om Parvat. Kailash Mansarovar Yatra organised by MEA (Ministery of External Affairs), India through Lipulekh pass also goes through Gunji. Today the travellers will drive from Dharchula to Gunji through the beautiful villages of Chialekh, Garbyang and Nepalchu enroute enjoying splendid views of the mountains, waterfalls and rivers. Food and stay will be organised in a guesthouse or home stay at Gunji.
Day 03 : Drive from Nabi to Navidang
Today after breakfast drive to visit the Om Parvat the ‘Om Parvat’ which has the natural occurrence of snow in the shape of ‘Om’ on this mountain. By travelling a distance of about 22 kms the travellers will reach Nabhidang (4340 meters) which is the view point for Om Parvat. Spend some time here and then drive back to Gunji. While driving back to Gunji enjoy splendid view of Sheshnag Parvat, visit Ved Vyas Gufa and do some puja at famous Kali Temple situated in Kalapani village. Return to Gunji for night stay.
Day 04 : Drive From Nabi to Jeolingkong
Today the travellers will drive to Jyolingkong (4762 meters) in local jeeps to have holy darshan of mount Adi kailash. On the way to Adi Kailash we will also see Kunti Parvat, Pandav Fort, Brahma Parvat, Pandav Parvat and Parvati Mukut. From Jyolingkong we will walk further for 3-4 kms to visit Parvati Lake (Gauri Kund) and Adi Kailash Temple. One may take a holy dip in the lake and bring the holy water in a bottle. After spending some time here the travellers will drive back to Gunji.
Day 05 : Gunji/Nabhi to Dharchula
After having visited many pilgrimage site including Adi Parvat, Om Parvat and Parvati Kund etc today we will start our return journey. Drive to Dharchula may take about longer then expected sometimes due to road conditions. On reaching Dharchula check into your hotel and spend rest of the time relaxing.
Day 05 : Dharchula to Tanakpur/ Kathgodam
Travellers will make their return journey to home directly or via Kathgodam/Tanakpur .

Situated on the border between Indian Uttarakhand (Dharchula, Pithoragarh district) and Nepal (Darchula District), this majestic peak is a subject of territorial dispute. Nestled east of the Nabhi Dhang camp on the Mount Kailash-Lake Manasarovar yatra route, Om Parvat holds immense spiritual significance for Hindu pilgrims. The mountain is often a focal point for trekkers heading to Adi Kailash in the scenic Kuthi Valley. Many pilgrims make a detour at Gunji to catch a glimpse of Om Parvat, adding a profound spiritual dimension to their journey. As part of the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra, Mount Kailash itself can be observed from various vantage points, including the Limpiyadhura Pass and the Old Lipulekh Pass, located a few kilometers west of the Lipulekh Pass. The region not only boasts breathtaking landscapes but also serves as a pilgrimage route that resonates with the deep-rooted spirituality of the Hindu faith.
Included:
Transportation: To Kathgodam to Destintion and Back To Kathgodam
Safety Equipment: First aid, medical kit, oxygen cylinders, stretchers, Walkie-Talkies, etc.
Accommodation: Provided from Day 1 to the Last Day. Accommodation includes tents/homestays/lodges, Camp triple sharing accommodation and separate arrangements for girls/ladies.
Meals: All meals from dinner on Day 1 to breakfast on the Last Day in Trekking. Food will be provided during the trek.
Permits/Forest Fees: Trekking permits and forest passes will be arranged.
Experienced Trek Leader & Team: Qualified trek leaders with basic/advanced mountaineering certifications, as well as support staff including cooks, helpers, and porters.
Excluded:
Food during Road Transit: Meals during transit from the pickup point to the trip starting point are not provided; trekkers must cover these costs themselves.
Mule and Porter Charges: Trekkers who opt to use mules or porters will incur an additional charge of Rs 350 per day.
Personal Expenses: Any personal expenses incurred during the trek are not covered.
Stay on the Last Day: The trek cost does not include accommodation on the last day.
