For those with a thirst for exploration, a further trek of just one kilometer leads to Zero Point. This pinnacle of the Munsiyari region, standing proud at 4000 meters above sea level, offers a unique 360-degree perspective of the surrounding landscape. Unlike the majestic but partial views from Khaliya Top, Zero Point presents a full-circle, panoramic vista that is truly incomparable. This additional trek promises to enhance your experience, leaving you with indelible memories of the natural beauty and grandeur of this extraordinary region.

Day 1: Kathgodam to Munsiyari – A Journey Through the Heart of Kumaon (130 kms / 5 hrs)

Begin your adventure with a scenic drive from Kathgodam to Munsiyari after breakfast, indulging in local sightseeing along the way. Savor lunch amidst the breathtaking landscapes before arriving in Munsiyari in the evening. Check into your hotel and prepare to be mesmerized by the stunning sunset views. Enjoy a delightful dinner at the hotel before retiring for an overnight stay, gearing up for the adventures ahead.

Day 2: Munsiyari to Bhujani – Trek in Woods (4 hrs.)

After breakfast, we embark towards Bhujani, our first campsite, renowned as one of the best camping areas in the entire Kumaon Himalayas. Set against the backdrop of quaint Munsiyari town, Bhujani offers an immersive outdoor experience with its thick forests, rolling meadows, and unparalleled views of the Panchachuli range, Nanda Devi, Maktoli, Nanda Ghunti, and beyond. The evening promises a tranquil setting for dinner under the stars, followed by an overnight stay in tents, nestled in nature's lap.

Day 3: Bhujani to Khaliya Top and Return to Munsiyari

Greet the day with breakfast amidst the serenity of Bhujani before we trek towards the majestic Khaliya Top. Absorb the panoramic splendors of the Himalayas and the unique biodiversity that flourishes here. Following our descent back to Munsiyari, check into your guest house to relax and unwind. The day concludes with a sumptuous dinner and another restful night's stay, as we reminisce about the day's adventures.

Day 4: Munsiyari to Kathgodam – Homeward Bound (6 hrs.)

On the final day of our journey, we rise early in the morning, fueled by breakfast and the anticipation of the journey ahead. Check out from the hotel and proceed to Kathgodam Railway Station, marking the conclusion of an unforgettable expedition. As we part ways, take with you the memories and friendships forged against the backdrop of the majestic Himalayas. Until next time, the mountains await your return.

Included:

Transportation: To Kathgodam to Destintion and Back To Kathgodam

Safety Equipment: First aid, medical kit, oxygen cylinders, stretchers, Walkie-Talkies, etc.

Accommodation: Provided from Day 1 to the Last Day. Accommodation includes tents/homestays/lodges, Camp triple sharing accommodation and separate arrangements for girls/ladies.

Meals: All meals from dinner on Day 1 to breakfast on the Last Day in Trekking. Food will be provided during the trek.

Permits/Forest Fees: Trekking permits and forest passes will be arranged.

Experienced Trek Leader & Team: Qualified trek leaders with basic/advanced mountaineering certifications, as well as support staff including cooks, helpers, and porters.

 

Excluded:


Food during Road Transit: Meals during transit from the pickup point to the trip starting point are not provided; trekkers must cover these costs themselves.

Mule and Porter Charges: Trekkers who opt to use mules or porters will incur an additional charge of Rs 350 per day.

Personal Expenses: Any personal expenses incurred during the trek are not covered.

Stay on the Last Day: The trek cost does not include accommodation on the last day.
